Young Transformers Project Vision

At Genesis Education Trust, we pride ourselves on the continuous progress,
attainment and achievements of our pupils across all the curriculum subjects. For our pupils to be confident, independent learners with enquiring minds and a life-long love of learning, we offer outstanding teaching and learning provision alongside broad, experiential and memorable activities. Our Young Transformers programme offers just that. The programme is intrinsically linked to our biblical vision:

I am the vine and you are the branches. If you remain with me and I with you then you will bear much fruit. Love one another as I have loved you. John 15.

We firmly believe that young people do not only have the power to transform themselves into responsible and proactive citizens but also the community they serve. In fact, our mission to transform the world for the goodness of all its citizens is so strong that we offer every child in our three schools the opportunity to actively participate in amazing transformative experiences throughout their time at school. We want our children to have the knowledge and power to shape the world they live in.

Young Transformers sets out to challenge children across five branches:
Creative, Community, Curious, Caring and Confidence

Creative – In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth

Community -But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another

Curious – It is the glory of God to conceal things, but the glory of kings is to search things out

Caring -Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.

Confidence – I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

Throughout their time in primary school, each child will engage with aspirational activities in and out of school with the power to transform on a larger or smaller scale. This could mean from learning how to make your bed at home to making fresh food parcels for families in our community.

As always, we work closely with our local church and Chelmsfords Diocese on projects they support to further enable our pupils to make a change for the greater good. Together, we set out an approach to life that reflects core biblical values and principles and is rooted in the belief that God loves each of us equally.
