School Council

The School Council play an important role in representing the children at St Mary’s and giving their classmates a voice. They raise issues when such arise, make suggestions as to how we can improve our school and support in ensuring ideas are run through smoothly from start to finish. Historically, they have helped out with events such as Christmas fetes and book fairs; more recently, they have been integral in helping decide on the charities to support through our Young Transformers project and, alongside the Learning Council, the implementation of our Star Books reading initiative and the introduction of our book vending machine.
